Pirat Lil Matey 2

I had fun building this little guy. Space is very tight inside these 3.5" frames, but overall I really like the look of the Lil Matey 2. I did switch out the ridiculous Torx hardware the kit comes with for stainless steel cap screws. All the 3d printed parts are slightly remixed versions of the ones distributed by Pirat. I did crimp up a custom length wiring harness for the VTX. It was my frist time crimping JST-HT 1.0MM and man are they small--10X OptiVistors FTW! If you want to repordue my build, be aware that you will need the longer (90mm) antenna from Radiomaster. I'm guessing people will have complaints about my GPS placement and its open space access to the sky. I wondered about it myself, but I reliably lock 15 - 19 sats which is plenty for my purposes.

FunFacts:

I used the UAVTech Micro 2"-4" tune preset in Betaflight. Works great!

There are 0 zip ties used. I did use wax nylon to fix the ELRS antenna (NASA does it, so it's good enough for me)

This little drone was conceptualized as a little neighborhood ripper with a focus on low light flying. That's why the Pro Camera and Luminous Blue glow in the dark TPU. It's droky, but I think it looks cool.
